About This Record

The Covenanting Record is a personal journal of Reformed and Covenanting reflection, maintained by one who holds to the Westminster Standards, the Solemn League and Covenant, and the exclusive psalmody and Regulative Principle of Worship as confessed by the Church of Scotland in her days of faithfulness.

It is not a learned work. It is the notebook of a lonely soul of the remnant — one who looks upon the desolations of Zion and mourns, yet who finds comfort in the promises of the Covenant God of Israel, and in the cloud of witnesses who suffered and died for these same truths. The author makes extensive use of AI for study and writing.

On Comments

Readers are warmly invited to respond. Comments are powered by Giscus, which requires a free GitHub account. All discussion is conducted in a spirit of brotherly and sisterly charity, with a commitment to Scripture and the Reformed confessions as our standard.

On the Documents Section

Alongside the journal, a Documents section hosts longer works: transcriptions, essays, and formal papers, presented in a navigable format suited to careful reading.

Soli Deo Gloria.
